About Us



History of paramedical faculty
  Tabriz Paramedical School was established in 1365 with the transfer of "Laboratory Sciences" and "Radiology" fields from the Medical School and also the transfer of "Intelligence" field from the Nursing School. Then, gradually, the fields of "Medical Documentation" and "Medical Librarianship and Information" were added to the fields of this school (currently the last two fields are taught in the Faculty of Management and Medical Information).
The first head of the school was Dr. Rasul Hossein Niya. Then, Dr. Mohammad Nouri, Dr. Mohammad Rehbani, Dr. Mohammad Reza Efhemi, Dr. Abdul Naser Rafi, Dr. Behrouz Nik Nafs, Dr. Ismail Fallah, Dr. Seyed Mustafa Qavami and Dr. Seyed Reza Mouadeb have been in charge of the faculty. Currently Mr. Dr. Mohammad Ahangarzadeh Rezaei is working as the head of the faculty.

Facilities of Tabriz Paramedical School:
Laboratory and hematology department, equipped laboratory of anesthesia for practical training, computer room for practical training of computer at all levels and 2 libraries equipped with medical and non-medical books in various fields and various publications, specialized laboratory for information. Is a radiology laboratory that regularly provides services to students. The Department of Basic (Non-Medical) Sciences of the University is located in this faculty, which provides services in the fields of Persian literature and English, as well as statistics for all centers of the University of Medical Sciences, as well as the Museum of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. It started last year. It is affiliated with Tabriz Paramedical School.


Educational groups:
The faculty currently has departments of laboratory sciences, radiology, anesthesiology, basic sciences and Islamic education.
